Guinnovation began when Guinea native Oury Diallo, now based in Wake Forest, NC, brought together friends and colleagues in global health and development to improve educational opportunities for children in rural and peri‑urban communities. What started as a small effort to support teachers and strengthen local schools has grown into a community‑driven organization making a lasting impact across Guinea.
Today, Guinnovation is guided by a diverse board of directors and an engaged advisory council. Since receiving our 501(c)(3) status in 2014, we’ve remained committed to expanding access to quality education and supporting the communities we serve.
