Mamadou Oury Diari Diallo was born in Labe in the west central Guinea. He earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Gamal Abdel Nasser University in Conakry. He worked in Guinea for five years before moving to the U.S. Settling in New York City, he received training with non-profit organizations and participated in community integration of Guineans in the tri-state region of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. In 2019, Mr. Oury Diari moved to Appleton, Wisconsin where he currently lives with his wife and children. He is employed with the Postal Service in training and supervisory roles. He continues to be involved with the Guinean community and the Islamic Center of Wisconsin (Madison).
